Monika Sojová je nejlepší angličtinářkou v kraji

(od Moniky Sojové, 2.A) On April 2, 2025 I participated in the Regional round of the English competition in Brno. This was the first time the Regional round was held for VG I. category. When we got there we completed a written test where they tested our abilities to understand a text. Once we completed the reading part, it was time for the speaking part. We were called into a room in pairs. We talked about various topics such as friends and hobbies. We also had to solve a problem about seasons. Lastly a native speaker asked us some questions and we were good to go. The judges mainly assessed our ability to respond quickly and they liked that our answers were very complex and mature. I will be going to the national round in Prague in May. Wish me luck!
